We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website, but neither we nor our affiliates, suppliers or agents can hold us (you) responsible for the accuracy of such information; Rather, you are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all information provided on this website.

We also cannot accept responsibility for any fees incurred as a result of any documents signed and accepted at the rental car company’s office.

We will not be liable for anyone who drives under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causes intentional damage, drives off-road or drives without due care and attention. YOU ASSUME ENTIRE RESPONSIBILITY WITH RESPECT TO THESE CLAIMS. These previous examples do not include all cases.

What is included/excluded in the price?
Please read the specific terms and conditions of your car rental, which you will see during the booking process.

Fuel & Deposit at the car rental company’s office
Most car rental companies require a deposit (insurance) at the start of the rental to cover excess liability, any fees incurred during the rental and in some cases fuel. To make the deposit, you will usually be required to have a valid credit card with available funds. The card must be in the name of the main driver. Also, please note that not all car rental companies accept the same types of cards so you should check the Important Information section when making your reservation and/or rental agreement (contract) for your car to confirm what types of cards will be accepted. If you still have any questions or inquiries, please contact us. Provided that the vehicle and additional items are returned in the same condition in which they were rented and in accordance with the fuel policy, this deposit (insurance) will be refunded after the vehicle is delivered (please note that it may take up to 30 days to charge your credit card with the deposit amount again).

Some car rental companies will require you to return the car with the same amount of fuel that was in the tank upon receipt. Other companies have a fuel policy where you have to buy your first tank of fuel and you can drop in the car with an empty tank – in this case, there may be no refund for unused fuel.

When the car rental company asks for fuel, it may be higher than the price at the local gas station.

Service outside working hours
At most airport locations, flight passengers will be met and cars provided outside of normal business hours; However, there may be an additional cost for this service, which is payable directly to the car rental company. We will let you know if a charge will apply when you confirm the pick-up times on your booking request. In the event that a flight delay causes the car to be picked up outside the rental car company’s normal business hours, the company may agree to provide an out-of-hours service – in which case the company will inform you of any fees. We cannot accept any additional liability where no out-of-hours service is available – therefore we recommend that you take out independent transportation insurance. Car rental desks at locations other than airports may provide out of hours service.

Minimum/Maximum Age Limits
The minimum age to rent a car in most locations is 21 years old. Additional fees may apply with certain car rental companies and in certain countries for drivers under 25 and over 65 years old: When you provide the correct driver age with your booking request we will report any potential fees. Minimum age requirements for larger vehicles may be higher in some locations. Please contact our call center if you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter.

Additional Drivers Fees for additional drivers, which are payable at the rental car desk, may apply (unless otherwise specified on the Rentalcars.com e-voucher/voucher). Please contact our call center.

Calculation of the daily rate / lease periods / lease extensions period / late delivery
Your car rental price will be confirmed at the time of booking and calculated based on 24-hour units. If you wish to extend the rental period after receiving the vehicle or if the vehicle is delivered after the time specified in your voucher / e-voucher then the contract for this extension will always be with the car rental company directly and they will claim the rental value for the excess time at the local daily rate, which It may be higher than the rates agreed with us at the time of booking. The car rental company may also charge an additional penalty for late delivery, and your contract with them will include details of any additional payments.

Late Collection/Early Delivery Your car rental starts and ends according to the pick-up and delivery dates and times detailed on your e-voucher/voucher. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund for unused time if the vehicle is picked up late and delivered early. If you are unable to collect the vehicle at the agreed time and date, it is essential that you contact us as soon as possible. If you don’t, there is no guarantee that the car will still be available – and you will not be entitled to any refund.

One-way rentals
One-way rentals must be confirmed in advance and may be subject to a one-way fee, payable to the car rental company. We will let you know the approximate costs after we receive your booking request and confirmation from the car rental company for the one way rental.

Child Seats & Special Requests
Child seats, roof mounts (not available on some cars) and other “extra” items are available on request at most locations, although they cannot be guaranteed. There is usually a fee to be paid to the car rental company. In most sites, the law requires it
